About these terms
This website is operated by Stairlifts Colchester, Hammonds, Harpers Hill, Nayland, Suffolk CO6 4NT. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Your rights as a consumer are not affected.
Information and estimates
We aim to keep the information on this site accurate, but it is general guidance and not a contract offer. Prices shown on our pages and in the cost calculator are typical estimates based on 2026 installed prices and include fitting unless we say otherwise. Your actual price depends on your staircase and is confirmed only in a written quote after a survey. Details of grants, VAT relief and other funding are summarised in good faith from public sources and can change, so always check with the council or HMRC.
No medical or legal advice
Our guides are not medical, legal, financial or tax advice. If you are unsure which equipment is safe for you, ask an occupational therapist or your GP. For VAT relief, grants and consent for listed buildings, check with the relevant authority.
Buying from us
A contract for a stairlift is formed only when we agree a written quote with you. Your quote and our cancellation policy then set out price, timing, warranty and your cancellation rights.
